Meet the Team
United Fundraising employees have well over 50 years combined experience developing and implementing unique fundraising campaigns for groups of all sizes and backgrounds.
Joe Schneeberger has been in the fundraising industry for 34 years. He started with Nasco in 1984 and was part of the QSP acquisition in 1993. He was with QSP as an employee until 2005. Joe enjoyed his tenure with QSP and received numerous growth awards throughout his career. He was named Field Sales Manager of the Year in 2005, the highest recognition that QSP offers to its sales force.
Joe and his sons, Joe and Tom, founded United Fundraising in 2005. They all enjoy being part of a family business and have developed relationships with the leading fundraising companies in the industry. An integral part of their growth strategy is providing a customer service program that is efficient, personable and fun. The company mantra “Big enough to serve, small enough to care” reflects this philosophy.
Joe graduated from Tiffin University with a degree in Organizational Behavior. He and his wife, Kathy, reside in Avon, Ohio. An avid runner and sports enthusiast, Joe is a lifelong Indians, Browns and Cavaliers fan!
Joe Schneeberger, Jr.
Joe Schneeberger, Jr., along with his father Joe and brother Tom, founded United Fundraising in 2005. His responsibilities include conducting kickoff assemblies, performing customer service, and selling programs to new accounts. Through his time in the business, Joe has formed friendships in the schools and has also developed an appreciation for all of the hard work that administrators and teachers put in. Joe gets a lot of satisfaction knowing that his work goes back to benefit the students and their learning. Standing 6’8″, he also gets a kick out of the reaction he gets from students when he enters schools!
Joe is a native Clevelander and graduated from St. Ignatius High School (’99) and John Carroll University (’03). He played basketball in high school and college. Joe is a devoted weightlifter and passionate sports fan. He avidly follows all sports, but is a die-hard fan of the Browns, Cavs, Indians, and Ohio State. He lives with his wife in Columbus and services accounts in that area of the state.
Tom Schneeberger, along with his father Joe and brother Joe, founded United Fundraising in 2005. His responsibilities include customer service, sales, and conducting assemblies in schools. Having worked in the fundraising industry for a number of years, Tom has gained a greater appreciation for the work his father has done cultivating relationships with schools and helping them raise funds to benefit education.
Tom is a 2001 graduate of St. Ignatius High School and 2010 graduate of Cleveland State University. He and his wife reside in Bay Village. Being the father of three young children doesn’t allow much free time, but Tom enjoys weightlifting and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Eileen Moran was a PTA volunteer in the Westlake City Schools for 15 years serving on various committees. She assisted in many areas, but found her niche in fundraising. It was during her time chairing the magazine drive at the middle school for several consecutive years that she crossed paths with Joe Schneeberger.
Recognizing that it’s helpful to have a Customer Service Rep that has been in the shoes of a sponsor, Eileen was originally hired by United Fundraising for seasonal work in 2007 but has been working full time since the Fall of 2009. Eileen immediately put her organizational skills to task and assists Joe and his sons with over 100 school fundraising drives each year. Her role includes prize and supply inventory, customer service support, on site assistance, managing the office, and everything in-between.
Eileen is the mother of four adult children. She enjoys walking and being outdoors.
Customer Service & Scheduling
Laura was a long time parent volunteer for our magazine drive at her children’s school when Joe offered her the opportunity to become a customer service rep for our east side accounts. She joined the United Fundraising team in the Fall of 2016 and two years later her role expanded to include event scheduling and customer contact before, during, and after the sale.
Laura is married and has three children. She is also the co-Athletic Directore at her daughter’s elementary school. When Laura has time, she enjoys reading.
Robin has been a parent volunteer in the local schools and her community. She was involved in various fundraisers including scouts. She joined the United Fundraising team in 2018 as a customer service rep.
Robin is married and has one son. She enjoys the lake, her dog, camping, and skiing.
Customer Service Staff
We are very proud of our customer service staff. We hire parent volunteers who have worked on fundraising drives at their schools. They are sensitive to the customer’s needs and know how to assist in all areas of the sale.
